PHOTOGRAPHY

BASIC Things to watch for when photographing your art.

  • NO Glass 

  • FILL YOUR CAMERA’S VIEWING AREA with art.

  • HAVE A SOLID BACKGROUND for your art

  • THE IMAGE IS STRAIGHT not askew. (tilting or slanting in a certain direction)

  • USE A TRIPOD when possible.

  • PHOTOGRAPH ONLY THE ART, NO Frame – unless intrinsic to the piece. (This is a general guideline. Read specifics for each show's “Call for Artists” requirements.)
