In this presentation, Richard will cover the basics and why good framing really does matter.

He will talk about the roles played by not only the frame but also the mats, glass, and spacers. And why you should use conservation-grade materials for your artwork.

Treasurer

HELP! PAAG Urgently Needs a Treasurer

“If I wasn't singing, I'd probably be an accountant." Janet Jackson

DO ANY OF THESE DESCRIBE YOU? (Or brings to mind someone else you know?)

  • Balances your checkbook to the penny

  • Enjoys numbers

  • Have a passion for supporting non-profits

GREAT!

Then, we have an opportunity for you to share your gifts.

Don't worry, we won't throw you in blindly. You will receive training in our methods and start with the team in September 2025.

We can't stress enough the importance of finding this person.

The Treasurer is the financial heart of the Guild. It is absolutely necessary that PAAG finds a new Treasurer!

Otherwise, we are up the proverbial creek with no paddle!

Without a Treasurer... we can't accept donations, memberships, or entry fees, let alone pay the bills.

Then there is also the real possibility that it could lose its 501(c)(3) IRS status and its non-profit status with Pennsylvania if the required annual filings are not submitted in a timely manner.

We need your help to find someone who can train with the current Treasurer before he leaves at the end of August. If you can think of anyone, let Don Havas know at paaguild@gmail.com

He will be glad to contact them.
